Curriculum Progress Overview & Page Restrictions

As an educator using CSUK:Academy, you have the flexibility to control access to various curriculum elements, such as 'Theory Pages', 'Missions', and 'Quizzes'. This feature is particularly useful if you wish to temporarily restrict access to certain quizzes or lessons, perhaps saving them for a specific stage in the year.

Here's how to easily manage these restrictions:

Curriculum Progress Overview & Page Restrictions:

  • In your teacher dashboard, navigate to the 'Course Tools' menu option.
  • Here, locate and click on the 'Group Restriction' button. This will open a popup modal that displays the course and its various sections.

Managing Access in Curriculum Progress Overview

Once you've opened the Curriculum Progress Overview modal, select the unit of work you'd like to manage.

  • Class Progress at a Glance: A table will load showing all students and their progress through the unit. You’ll see scores for completed missions and quizzes, giving you a quick visual overview of class performance.

  • View Student Work: Click on any score to open a detailed view of that student's attempt, allowing you to see exactly how they engaged with the task.

  • Page and Quiz Locks: Use the toggle switches beside each page or quiz to restrict or grant access. This lets you control when students can view or interact with specific parts of the unit.

  • Unit Progress by Deadline: Activate the unit-level deadline switch to enable deadline-controlled progress. This will:

    • Lock all missions and quizzes until a deadline is set.

    • Unlock each item automatically when its deadline is reached.

    • Lock it again once the student has completed and marked the task as complete.
